Resetting a false code on your Generac Generator:
could be due to a needed firmware update or a power surge event.
To see if the code is a false code, you can quickly reset your Generac Generator using
the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the front of the generator, lift the lid, and locate the Controller on the top
right side of the generator
Step 2: Press the red button OFF button
Step 3: Press the ENTER Button
Step 4: Press the green AUTO button
This will reset any false trouble code and could get you back online faster than having to
call out a service technician.
