Pay: From $30,000 Plus Commission
Time: 40 hours a week, typically Monday-Friday, some weekend hours required
Work Setting: Hybrid – including in-office, remote, and field hours


Current Electrical and Generator Services is looking for a highly motivated and aggressive sales associate to sell Generac energy solutions. Due to weather conditions and rolling blackouts there is great demand in the market for generator sales. The market is hot, and we need you to close sales leads. Current Electrical and Generator Services offers whole home, business and industrial generators as well as clean energy power products. Our energy products are installed and serviced by our highly trained certified technicians. We are a Generac premier dealer due to the outstanding performance of our professional installation, service, sales, and office teams. Our achievement as a Premier Dealer allows you the opportunity for specialized training.

As a sales representative, you would be responsible for closing provided leads, generating leads and meeting sales goals of Generac energy products for homes and businesses. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. Electrical experience/knowledge is a great advantage to understand your client’s unique needs and to meet your sales goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, as well as superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage. Sales leads are provided along with the opportunity to build your own base of clientele.

Responsibilities:
Understand the sales process and dynamics of a sale including:
o Understand the technique of closing sales
o Ability to close leads received from the company
o Ability to generate leads
o Superb interpersonal skills including the ability to quickly build rapport with both
customers and suppliers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including:
o Sales presentations
o Product demonstrations
o Negotiating contracts
o Networking at conventions and product shows

Organizational skills to manage accounts and provide excellent customer service including:o Promptly returning calls to sales leads and customers
o Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability
o Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and
services
o Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
o Maintaining client records
o Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
o Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs


Technical abilities including
o Experience using computers for a variety of tasks

o Competency in Microsoft applications (word, excel, outlook)
o Ability to learn software to properly determined pricing, schedules, quotes and
reports

Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment

Plus, but not Required:
o Past electrical experience
o Past sales experience of generators and/or home energy solutions
o Example: Battery backup power, solar power
